Kitchen make over in Henley-on-Thames
The Space: A bijoux, tired kitchen in need of a re-vamp on a tight budget. Set on the first floor of a property dating back to the 1830s, access via steep stairs and a narrow doorway provided a challenge that The Feathered Nest happily took on!
The brief: A country aesthetic with maximum work surface without encroaching on the limited space.
The result: A welcoming kitchen combining plenty of practical storage with cohesive, detailed personal touches. A fresh colour palette of navy, grey and white was chosen to compliment the warmth of solid oak worktops, using accents of brass and black to bring all elements together. We even managed to fit in a breakfast bar with seating in this compact space, which the clients advise allows them to sit and enjoy a coffee with the morning sun now the room has been re-designed:
